Recently we have encountered a few instances of translationCore not being able to download a project.
Symptoms
As soon as the user tries to download a new project, translationCore shows the message “Unknown error fetching repository”.
Solution
Most of the time, this can be remedied by installing the latest version of Git.
- Go to Git - Downloads
- Click on the link for your operating system
- Confirm the download
- Install the file you just downloaded
For most people, this should be enough to fix the problem.
