Unlocking the tW Tool
In order for a Gateway Language to unlock the tW tool for Other Languages translations, the following resources need to be available in the Door43-Catalog for the Gateway Language:
- translation of the translationWords resource
- a form-centric Bible translation, preferably a translation of the unfoldingWord Literal Text (Note: this may be submitted a book at a time)
- alignment data between the Greek/Hebrew text and the form-centric Bible translation
Unlocking the tN Tool (provisional)
In order for a Gateway Language to unlock the tN tool for Other Languages translations, the following resources need to be available in the Door43-Catalog for the Gateway Language:
- translation of the translationNotes resource
- translation of the translationAcademy resource
- a form-centric Bible translation, preferably a translation of the unfoldingWord Literal Text (Note: this may be submitted a book at a time)
- alignment data between the Greek/Hebrew text and the form-centric Bible translation
unfoldingWord Simplified Text
We strongly encourage Gateway Languages to also provide a meaning-based Bible translation, preferably a translation of the unfoldingWord Simplified Text. This is an extremely helpful resource for Other Language translators.
